First of all, I'm going to compliment you on your editing skills. The reality is that this type of editing is all too common in the fashion/glamour world. When you see celebrities on covers, eye colour gets changed, things get nipped and tucked, the skin looks ultra smooth. I can definitely picture this in a fashion/glamour magazine.
As for personal taste, take this with a grain of salt but I feel like it's too much editing. His spots/freckles give him character and his eyes and nose were fine as they were. To be honest, I think he's a lot more handsome before the edit. And that is not an insult aimed at you because you are clearly very talented. I love the rest of your editing in this image and there's still a lot to appreciate.
LOL...the purething is my logo which i applied to his shirt! LOOOOL 2 .... the first line of description is obviously a quote from Madonna's earliest.... bur it referred to the "this is my first male - RETOUCH" happy u liked it!
It's too much skin texture on his chest, looks like he has irritation color of the skin is also little bit metallic why you made him pamela anderson lips? his natural lips were kinda ok also his cheekbones were natural - with shadows it seems like he didn't have any and you added them same with nose - too much shadows - makes him little bit plastic personally me - I would keep different moles - one under his nose irritates me i really like the job you did with eyebrows and overall lighting (hope i was not too harsh - you did nice job - and those are just my humble opinion )))
and i appreciate your opinion!! thank you so much for your feedback...it's so cool that you took the time to really analize it...in some points i agree in some not...anyway, comments like yours are inspiring and important!
Awesome work on this, I do have a few crits though. Adding moustache and chin stubble isnt really necessary. If I was the model, Id be going : "Whu- . I shaved that morning,Im sure !" . I love manly retouches but ADDING elements is going a bit far , unless the client asked for it.
omg! thank you so much for taking the time to comment and analysing! hahahah hey i hope the model say instead: hey! finally i have a mustache, i tried all but nothing is growing!! just kidding..i know what you mean - i just wanted to turn him more into a man. this wasn't a client image but an exercise files... i just try manipulations. as you said, i totally agree, i never would add something without explicit request of the client. the skin retouch was really my choice...first aspect is that i am a beaty retoucher, so i was focused on magazine style like Esquire, men's health etc., second...i wanted him SEXY, promising...so this is kind of my dream man hahahhahaha
love YOUR works, your skills! and i wish you would return more often here to give me inspiring input!
